Write A Letter To Your Teacher How You Spend Your Holidays
Dear Mr. [teacher name],
How are you? I am fine. I hope you are also fine.
I am writing to tell you about my holidays.
I went to [place name] with my family, where we saw the most beautiful [thing]. It had such amazing views and the weather was perfect! We took a trip to [place name] as well, which was really fun. My parents bought me a new toy, and they bought me some clothes too! My sister helped me to learn how to do my homework better. She gave me some advice on how to study, so now it is easier for me to learn things at school.
When we came back from our holiday, it was cold outside but inside it felt warm and cozy because of all of the presents under the tree! It was so much fun opening them all up together as a family! We also got some nice food for dinner that night—my favorite part about Christmas Eve is always having spaghetti bolognese or turkey with stuffing (depending on what kind of meal my dad decides to cook).
Thank you very much for your letter last week! It really made me happy that someone cared enough about what happens in my life…
Dear Teacher,
I am writing to tell you about my holiday. I spent it with my family and friends. It was a happy time. We had fun together.
We went to the beach and had a picnic there. It was nice weather and the sea was very calm. My family and I enjoyed swimming in the sea. We played football on the beach and made sand castles together. It was an unforgettable day for me because I had never been at the beach before! At night we watched fireworks from our balcony and had a barbecue party with friends and family members.
I hope you have enjoyed your holidays too.
Dear Teacher,
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s! I went to visit my family for the holidays, and it was a blast. We went out to dinner at my favorite restaurant, and we even went shopping together! I got the coolest new shoes. The best part was that it was all just us—no phones or computers, just us being together.
It made me think about how important it is to have fun with your friends and family, but also to take time for yourself too. So when you get back to school after break, maybe try doing something different? Maybe go on a walk or read a book by yourself! Or try something new with your friends! You never know what you’ll find until you take the chance.
Dear Mr. Smith,
I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year.
I spent my holidays with my family in the mountains. We went skiing and snowboarding, but it was so cold that I did not enjoy it very much.
I have also been working on a project for school. We had to make an animation about the story of Christmas. I made a stop-motion animation using paper cutouts and filming them one frame at a time with my phone. It took me about six hours to film all of them, but it was worth it because now I can show people how much effort goes into making animations like this!
Dear Mr. [teacher name],
I just came back from holidays and I want you to know how I spent them. The first two weeks, I was in the mountains with my family and we had a lot of fun. The weather was very nice and it was great to spend some time together as a family. We played games, went on walks, had picnics… It was really nice!
After that, I went on a trip with my friends to France. We visited Paris and saw all the famous places like Notre Dame de Paris, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees… It was really amazing! I also visited Disneyland Paris which is one of the best amusement parks in Europe! It was so much fun! We had such an incredible time together!
Dear Mr. [teacher’s name],
Thank you so much for being such an awesome teacher! The holidays were great, but I couldn’t have gotten through them without you.
I thought I’d share a few of my favorite memories from the past few weeks:
- When we first started learning about [name of subject], it seemed really hard and overwhelming. But then you helped me understand it, and now it’s not scary anymore.
- When I was having trouble with [subject] test, you let me sit in the front row and watch other people take the test so I could see how they did it. You were right—that totally helped me figure it out on my own when it was my turn!
- You’re always so positive and upbeat, even when things are hard or stressful for us (which is often). That makes school such a wonderful place to be!
Dear Teacher,
This is the holiday season and I am enjoying it. I have been spending time with my family and friends. I hope that you have a wonderful holiday season.

Dear Ms. Smith,
I am writing to you to tell you about my holiday break. I had a lot of fun during my week-long break from school. I spent most of the time hanging out with my family, but we also went to the park and watched a movie. At the end of each day, we would play games together and take turns telling stories about what we did during the day. It was really fun!
Dear Ms. Smith,
I hope you’re doing well! I just wanted to send you a quick note about how I spent my holidays.
I had a great time with my family this year. We went to the beach and sat around talking about everything from politics to pop culture. We also took some time out of our busy days to go on walks and just hang out together. It was nice to be able to spend quality time with my family, especially since I’ve been so busy lately trying to finish up schoolwork and other tasks for work.
We also went on a trip with some friends of ours who live in another city—a very different environment than what we’re used to here at home! We stayed in an apartment near the water and spent most of our time swimming in the sea or exploring nearby neighborhoods. It was really refreshing to get out of town and see something new for once!
I’m looking forward to getting back into the swing of things when it comes time for classes again, but until then, I’ll be spending some more time catching up with friends and family! Best wishes for your holiday season as well!
Dear Mr. Smith,
I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to write to let you know that I have been spending my holidays in the best way possible by studying and working hard on my homework. I have also been spending time with my family and friends, which has been great!
I hope you had a wonderful holiday season as well!
Dear Teacher,
I am writing to you to tell you how I spend my holidays.
This year, I went to my friend’s house. We played games and watched movies together. We also went to the library and took some books. Then we went to the park and played sports. At night, we went out with my family and had dinner at a restaurant. We had lots of fun!
I hope you have a great vacation too!
Dear Teacher,
I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. I spent my break with my family and friends. We went shopping together and visited our local zoo. We also went to an amusement park and had a blast riding all the rides.
Thank you for everything you do to make school so much fun! I love your class so much!
Have a great spring break!
Dear Teacher,
I hope you are doing well. I want to share with you about how I spent my holidays. On the first day of the holidays, I visited my grandparents’ house. My grandmother cooked a delicious chicken curry for me and we watched a movie together. It was so much fun!
On the second day of the holidays, we celebrated my grandfather’s birthday. He is turning 60 years old this year! We had lots of fun at his birthday party because all his friends came over and brought him presents. He was very happy on that day!
On the third day of the holidays, we went to a beach near our city. There were lots of people there but it didn’t matter because we had a great time swimming in the sea and having fun together as a family!
On the fourth day of the holidays, I went to visit some friends who live in another city called Lahore which is about 500 kilometers away from Karachi where we live right now because they invited me over for dinner at their house so that we could catch up with each other after a long time apart due to schoolwork commitments (it’s not easy being an 11th grader).
Dear [name],
I hope you are having a great day! I am writing to tell you about how I spent my holiday. I went to the beach with my family and we had a lot of fun. We went swimming, surfing, and snorkeling. We saw lots of fish, crabs, and sea turtles. I also went on an airplane ride with my parents. That was so much fun! My brother went to the zoo with his friends and said it was really cool there too.
Thank you for teaching me how to write letters!
Thanks and best regards, [your name].
Dear Ms. Smith,
I’m writing this letter to you because I wanted to let you know about how my holidays went. I had a great time during the holidays with my family, but I also enjoyed spending time with my friends.
My family and I went on vacation to Florida for Christmas. We stayed at a hotel, which was really nice because we were able to relax in comfort, rather than having to worry about cooking or cleaning up after ourselves. We spent most of our time at the beach, which was really fun! It was cool because there were all sorts of different sand castles that people had built on their own time there – some were really elaborate while others were just simple mounds of sand with small toys inside of them (like little plastic cars).
We also went shopping at Disney World and Universal Studios theme parks while we were there. At Universal Studios, we rode the Harry Potter ride and saw characters from the movies like Dobby and Hermione Granger perform live shows for us! My favorite part though was riding The Simpsons Ride simulator at Universal Studios – it felt like being in a cartoon world!
Thank you and best regards, [your name].
