Write A Letter To Your Best Friend About Your School
Hey [name],
How are you? I hope you are doing great over there.
I am doing pretty good here, I got to tell you about my school, it is amazing. I have been learning a lot of things and I am enjoying every bit of it.
I really miss talking to you but that is not possible right now because we are both in different places and there is no way we can talk at this moment.
Anyway, I want to wish you all the best in your life and hope that everything goes well for you. Keep up the good work buddy!
Dear [Best Friend’s Name],
I hope you’re doing well! How are you? I’m still in school. I don’t know what to do with my life anymore. I just want to be a professional blogger, but everyone tells me it’s not a career. I wish they’d stop telling me that.
Anyway, how are things going? How is your family? Are they still eating healthy and exercising? I hope so!
I’m worried about my grades. They’ve been slipping recently, and I’m trying not to get too stressed out about it. But it’s hard when your parents keep asking you how things are going at school and all you can think about is how badly you want them to just leave you alone already! That would be so nice…
How are things going with your studies? Are you still enjoying them? If not, then maybe you should try something new—maybe even consider taking up a new hobby or learning something new. You never know where life will take you!
Well, if there’s anything else that’s happening in your life (or mine), please let me know!
Dear [friend’s name],
It’s been so long since I’ve seen you, but it feels like yesterday that we were walking around the campus of [school name] together. I can’t believe how much has changed since then! I’m living in a dorm on my own now, and it’s so much different than when we were roommates.
I miss being able to just walk into your room whenever and talk about everything going on in our lives. Remember when we used to do that? Sometimes I feel like we lost touch with each other once we started college—I know things are busy, but it would be nice to catch up more often.
Anyway, enough about me (for now). How are things going for you? Are you doing well? Are you still working at the same place? And how is your boyfriend/girlfriend? Is he/she still treating you well? Do you ever think about what would have happened if they hadn’t dumped us both before freshman year ended? Ugh…sorry, that was a little too heavy for a letter!
Anyway, take care of yourself and keep in touch!
Dear [name],
I know you’re busy, but I wanted to write you a quick note today. I hope all is well with your family and friends, and that your classes are going well.
I’m sorry if this comes off as a little forward, but I have some questions about my school. I know that it’s a little late in the semester for this to be relevant, but I just wanted to get some advice from someone who knows more about the school than me.
One question is about the food options on campus. I don’t have a lot of money to spend on meals, so when I go out for lunch or dinner, it’s usually at one of the places close by—but there aren’t many healthy options anywhere near campus! Are there any places nearby where I can get something healthy and inexpensive?
Another question is about homework and studying habits: How do you make sure you’re getting enough sleep every night? And how do you balance studying with other responsibilities? Do you set aside specific times each day for studying? Or do you wait until the last minute? What kinds of things do you do when it gets too late at night…
Dear [friend name],
I hope you’re doing well! How was your summer? I think it’s going to be a great year, too.
I’m so excited for school to start again, because I’ve gotten a lot done this summer. I’ve been working on my college essay, which I’m hoping will make me stand out from all the other applicants. It’s hard to get started because there’s just so much to write about! But once you get into it, it’s not so bad. Anyway…
What have you been up to?
Write back soon!
Dear [name],
How are you? I’m doing great! I’m so excited to tell you what’s been going on with me lately.
I started a new school, and it’s been a lot of fun. There are so many new people here, and I’ve made some really good friends already. I’m also taking classes that are way more interesting than the ones I took last year. It’s an awesome change of pace!
I hope that things have been going well for you too—how is your internship going? Is it everything you hoped it would be? Or maybe it’s not… but either way, tell me about it!
Talk soon!
Dear [name],
I hope you are doing great! I am writing to tell you about my school. It is a great school and I like it. The teachers are very good and kind. There are many facilities in the school, such as a library, computer lab, auditorium, playgrounds and gymnasium. We have many clubs such as science club, debate club, sports club and many more. Our school also has a cafeteria where we can eat lunch or dinner with our friends.
I like our school because we always have fun there and make new friends every day. Our principal is really nice too! He always helps us if we need anything from him or if we want to talk about something important like bullying or drugs at school which sometimes happens but not often because there is no one who does that kind of thing here except for some freshmen who don’t know how things work yet but they will learn eventually when they get older like me (laughs).
I hope this letter finds you well and happy with your family members including your little brother who loves playing video games all day long while forgetting about his homework (laughs). See you soon!
Dear [friend’s name],
I’m writing you because I need to tell you something. I know that we’ve been friends for a long time, and I feel like it’s important to be honest with you.
The truth is, I don’t want to go to school anymore. I’ve been trying to pretend like everything is fine and dandy, but it’s not. School makes me miserable—it’s so boring! And even though the teachers say they’ll let us out early if we’re bored and ask them for help, they never do anything about it. They just keep telling us to quiet down and sit still, like that’ll solve anything.
And then when we get home from school, there’s all this homework waiting for us—so much homework! It’s really overwhelming sometimes when there are so many assignments due at once and I don’t know what to do first or where to start. And then when we finally get around to doing our homework… well, that’s even worse than school was! The teachers expect us to do so much work in such little time, and if we don’t do it right away there will be consequences—like detention or missing recess!
Dear [friend’s name],
I hope you’re doing well! I wanted to let you know about something that happened this week at school. We had a huge test in my math class, and I was really nervous about it because I haven’t been doing as well lately. But then when the test was over and I got my grade back, it said that I had gotten a perfect score on the test! And when my teacher told me that, she said “Wow, you really are a genius!” So maybe now people will start to realize that.
Anyway, what have you been up to?
Dear [friend’s name],
I miss you! School has been so busy and tiring, but I’m trying to stay focused on my goals and having a great time—and staying connected with you helps me do that.
I can’t wait until we get together again, because then we can talk about everything that’s going on in our lives and catch up on each other’s news. In the meantime, I hope this letter finds you well and happy!
Dear [friend’s name]:
It’s been a while since we’ve talked, so I thought I’d drop you a line to see how things are going. How are you? I hope you’re doing well.
I’ve been thinking about you a lot lately, and how much you mean to me. You’ve been a good friend for years now, and I can’t imagine life without you in it.
I’m glad we’re still friends after all this time! It means a lot to me that we’ve managed to stay friends through all kinds of ups and downs—and it feels like there’s been a lot of those! But it’s nice that we’re still able to talk about them together and work through them. You really help me out when things get tough, so thank you for being there for me during hard times.
I hope everything is going well for you at school right now—and if there’s anything else going on in your life that might be making things difficult or stressful (or just plain old unpleasant), please know that I’m here if you want someone to talk to about it! Just give me a call or send me an email so we can talk about what’s going on in your life right now…
Dear [friend],
I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing to update you on some things that have happened at school, and also because I wanted to make sure that you know how much I appreciate your friendship.
First of all, it’s been a while since we talked. I know that you’ve been busy with your job, and I just wanted to let you know that I miss hanging out with you! Let’s make plans for the next time we get together. Can we go see a movie? Or maybe go hiking? Whatever sounds good!
Second of all, did you hear about [topic]? It’s crazy how many people are talking about it! I think it’s really interesting how something so serious is happening right now in our country. How do you feel about it? Do you think this kind of thing has happened before?
Thirdly… well… actually there’s only one more thing: I want to let you know how much I appreciate having such a great friend like yourself in my life. You mean so much to me, and I hope that one day soon we can get together again! Until then, take care of yourself and enjoy life!
Dear [best friend’s name],
I’m so excited to write this letter! I’ve been thinking about you for a while and I wanted to share some of the cool things that have happened in my life lately.
First off, I got accepted into this program at [school] where I’ll be studying business administration. It’s really intense, but so far it’s been great! They’ve really helped me figure out what my strengths and weaknesses are, so I can keep improving myself.
And then there’s this guy I met named [his name]. He’s really sweet and he always makes me laugh. We’ve been hanging out a lot lately—he’s going through a rough time right now, but we’re trying to help each other figure things out.
It’s been such a fun year so far! Can’t wait to see what else happens in the coming months!
