Write A Letter To Your Aunt Telling Her Three Good Things About Your School
Dear Aunt,
I have been doing well in school. I have received a lot of help from my teachers and classmates. They are always there to help me out when I need it. I am grateful for the support that they give me.
My favorite subject is English because it is one of my favorite subjects to learn about and write about. My other favorite subject is history because it is interesting to learn about what happened in the past.
My least favorite subject is math because I do not like math very much and sometimes find it hard to understand the concepts in class.
Dear Auntie,
I hope you’re doing well! I’m sorry it’s been a while since I last wrote you. Things have been pretty busy here at [school name].
I am so happy to tell you about three good things that are happening at my school:
First, our campus is undergoing a major renovation this summer. There will be more classrooms and study rooms, as well as a new cafeteria and library! The new library will be twice as big as the one we have now and will have more computers. It is going to be amazing.
Second, there are some new students coming to our school this year from abroad. They come from all over the world—some speak English really well and others don’t speak any English at all! It’s really interesting to hear their stories and learn about their cultures.
Third, our football team just won its first game of the season! We were losing by three touchdowns when they came back with two touchdowns in less than five minutes to win! It was such an exciting game!
Dear Aunt Tasha,
I hope you’re doing well! I’m sorry it’s been so long since I last wrote to you. I’m sorry to hear about your cold and your allergies, but I hope you’re feeling better now.
I’ve been thinking a lot about my time at school recently. It’s hard to believe that it’s been over half a year since we started! I have some good news: I’ve made some new friends, and they’re really nice. Some of them are even in my classes. That must be why it feels like we’ve been together longer than we have!
In addition to making new friends, there are three other things I love about school: 1) the teachers are great; 2) the food is delicious; and 3) our gym teacher is hilarious! He tells jokes all day long, and he makes us work hard so that we can get better at sports (and get more exercise). He is definitely one of my favorite people here at [school name].
I hope all is well with you, Aunt Tasha! Please let me know if there’s anything else going on in your life. Your loving nephew, [name].
Dear Auntie,
I hope you’re having a wonderful week. I’m writing to you because I wanted to tell you about three good things that have happened since you last heard from me.
- My class went on a field trip to a museum! We got to see all kinds of old things like dinosaur bones and Egyptian artifacts. It was really fun!
- We had an assembly where we learned about how to make the best ice cream sundaes ever, and then we got to make our own! It turned out so good!
- The weather has been amazing lately—it’s just perfect for playing outside with my friends after school, or relaxing with a book in the sunshine on the swing set in our backyard.
Thanks for everything you do for us, Auntie. And here’s hoping your week is going well as well!
Dear Auntie,
First of all, I’m so sorry that it’s been so long since we talked. I know you’re probably sick of me writing these letters, but I just wanted to let you know that everything is going really well here at school.
We had a great field trip this week! We went to the zoo and saw all kinds of animals, including some lions and tigers. They were so big and powerful—it was amazing!
We also got to see an elephant creek show when we were there. The elephants are so smart and funny; they can do tricks like balance on their trunks or walk on their back legs. And they can even paint pictures! It was incredible.
I think my favorite part of the trip was seeing the giraffes though—they were so tall! One of them stood up on his hind legs and reached way up into a tree branch with his tongue—the whole class was amazed by how far he could reach. He almost got the fruit he was after, but not quite… maybe next time!
The weather has been really nice this week too—not too hot or cold (except for yesterday when it rained).
Dear Auntie,
I have been thinking about you lately and how much I love you. I hope you are doing well and enjoying the holidays.
There are a lot of good things about my school. The first thing is that it is close to home so I don’t have to travel very far. Also, we have really great teachers who really care about us and want us to do well in life. We also get a lot of homework which helps us learn new things every day!
I hope you like reading this letter and that you have a great holiday season! Love always, [your name].
Dear Aunt T,
Thank you so much for the letter you sent me! I really appreciate it. I’ve been meaning to write you back for a while now, but have been busy with school.
I’m doing great in my classes and getting good grades. I’m learning so much about the world around me, which is really exciting!
I love my teachers and classmates. They are all so nice to each other and everyone is so friendly. It’s like being part of a big family!
My favorite classes are [class 1], [class 2], and [class 3]. My favorite thing about them is [what you like about them].
Thanks again for writing me back!
Dear Aunt Carol,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing to tell you about three good things about my school.
The first thing is that the teachers are great. They really encourage us and help us learn new things.
The second thing is that all of my friends are really nice and supportive. They make it fun to be at school every day and always have a smile on their face!
The third thing is that we have some really cool clubs at our school, like the Anime Club (which I’m in) and the Science Club (which my friend is in). These clubs are so much fun and they teach us a lot about different topics!
Dear Aunt Tilly,
I hope this letter finds you well. I’m sorry we haven’t written in a while—we’ve been so busy with school and stuff. But I wanted to tell you all about what’s been going on since we last wrote!
The first thing that has happened is that we started a new project where we have to write letters to our friends’ families and tell them about the good things that are happening at our school. We’re supposed to write three good things about our school, and then we have to read the letter out loud in front of the class. It’s really hard because they don’t want us to write that everything is perfect, but I think that everything is pretty close to perfect here at [school name].
One of the best things about our school is that there are so many different types of people here. Some people come from other countries and speak different languages, some kids have special needs like me (I have ADHD), some kids are rich or poor… but everyone gets along really well!
Another good thing about [school name] is that we have a lot of opportunities for fun after-school activities: sports teams, music groups—even cooking classes!
Dear Auntie,
I hope you’re doing well! I’m sorry it’s been a while since I’ve written to you. I’ve been busy with school lately and haven’t had much time to write. Today, though, I wanted to tell you about three things that have made me feel good about my school recently.
First, I’m really glad that the teachers have been working so hard to ensure that all the students at our school are getting the best possible education. This means that they’re constantly monitoring our progress and making sure they’re teaching us well. They also make sure we have access to lots of resources like books and technology so we can learn everything we need in class as well as outside of it. It makes me feel like my teachers care about me personally as well as just about my grades—and that’s important!
Second, I’m happy that our school has so many opportunities for students who want to pursue their passions outside of class. We have a lot of clubs where students can get together and do something they love: dance, art, writing… even robotics! There are also sports teams for those who like athletics or want an outlet for their competitive spirit.
Dear Aunt,
It’s been a while since we’ve written, so I want to tell you about the last three good things that have happened to me in school. First, I had my first week of high school classes this week, and I really enjoyed them! The teachers are really nice and the classes are fun. Second, I had a lot of fun with my friends during lunchtime today. We played games together and ate snacks. Third, we had a spelling bee in our class today and I won! That was so much fun!
I hope you’re doing well too—take care of yourself!
Dear Auntie,
I hope you are well. I have been enjoying my school this year. The teachers are really nice and the students help each other with their homework.
The first thing I like about school is the teachers are very kind to me. They help me if I don’t understand something and they give us time to do our work if we need it.
The second thing I like about school is that we have a lot of activities where we can meet new people and make new friends. For example, every Friday we go to the park for picnic time where all the kids bring their lunch and play games together. It’s so much fun!
The third good thing about school is that we get free dinner on Fridays! We get pizza or pasta and then we watch movies together after dinner which is so much fun too!!
I hope you are having a good day today!
Dear Auntie,
I hope you’re doing well. I’ve been busy with school and working a lot, but it’s worth it because I really love my classes. Here are the three best things about my school:
- I really like my professor for my economics class, and he makes the material really interesting. He has a lot of connections in the world of finance, so he gives us tips on how to invest wisely, and he always has great advice for how to make money!
- My art history professor is amazing! She’s so knowledgeable about art history and can tell you anything you ever wanted to know about any artist who has ever lived (and their work). She also teaches us how to draw and paint, which is great because now I can paint whenever I want!
- I love that my English literature class is focused on poetry instead of novels or plays—it’s really fun to read poems by famous poets like Shakespeare or Emily Dickinson!
Best regards, [name].
