Write A Letter To Your Aunt About Your New School
Dear Aunt [name],
I’m so excited about my new school! It’s called [name of school]. I’m going to be taking classes like English, math, and history. I also have a lot of fun clubs that I can join: [clubs]. We have a really good art club, which I really love.
My friends are really nice too—they’re all really funny and they always make me laugh.
I hope you are doing well too! Write back soon!
Dear [recipients name],
I am so excited to be starting school in a few weeks. I can’t wait to make new friends and meet some new teachers. I’m also really looking forward to seeing you when we get home for the holidays. Everyone has been asking me what my favorite subject is going to be, but I don’t know yet! I think it’ll depend on who my teachers are and what kind of classroom they have.
I hope you’re doing well at work and not too tired from working all day! I just wanted to give you an update on how things are going here with me and let you know that I’m doing great! Love always, [name]
Dear [recipient’s name],
I’m so happy to tell you about my new school. It’s called [name of school]. I’m in the seventh grade and I have a lot of friends there. It’s so much fun!
My favorite subject is math because we do math games like tic tac toe and hangman. My favorite teacher is Ms. Brown because she teaches us how to make comics and she always makes it fun for us. The most important thing that I’ve learned at my new school is that everyone should be treated equally, no matter what they look like or what they believe in.
I hope that you enjoyed reading this letter as much as I enjoyed writing it!
Dear Aunt Sally,
I’ve been meaning to write you since I started school here at [school name]. I wish I could tell you in person how much I’m enjoying my classes, but since that’s not possible, I’m writing this letter.
I know you were worried about me when I moved here—a lot of people were—but it’s been so great! Everyone at school has been so friendly and welcoming. And the teachers are amazing! They’re all so nice, and they’ve been helping me out with everything from my homework to getting used to the school itself.
I’m not sure if you know this already or not, but one of my favorite parts of the day is when we have lunch together. It’s like a mini-vacation every day! The food is amazing (and there’s always something new), and everyone gets along so well. It feels like we’re all part of a big family here. That’s why it means so much to me that you came all this way just to visit me this weekend—it really made my day!
Anyway… enough about me! How are things going back home? Have you gotten any more new pets since last time we talked?
Dear Auntie [name],
I am so excited to tell you that I have just started school! It’s a new experience for me, and I’ve been having a great time.
I can’t wait to see what this year brings. I’m looking forward to making new friends, learning new things (especially about computers!), and having fun with my classmates.
I hope you’re doing well too. Let me know if there’s anything else you’d like me to tell you about school.
Love, [your name].
Dear [Aunt’s Name],
I’m very excited to start school at [school name]. It’s a new beginning for me, and I can’t wait to meet all of my new classmates.
I’m getting to know the campus pretty well now, and I have to say it’s very beautiful. The trees are beginning to turn yellow and orange, which makes the whole place feel warm and cozy. The buildings are really old—the oldest one was built in 1842!—but they’re still in great shape and full of history.
The first day of classes went well. My teachers were all very friendly, and they seemed like they really wanted to help me learn as much as possible. I made some friends right away: one of them is named Eric and he’s going into seventh grade like me; another one is named Sarah and she’s going into eighth grade; finally there’s Alice—she’s actually older than us by two years! She just moved here from out of state last year so she didn’t know anyone either. We’ve already planned our first sleepover! It’ll be so much fun!
I hope you’re doing OK back home (and not too busy with work or anything). You’ve always been
Dear [recipient’s name],
It’s been a while since I’ve written you. I’m sorry. I’m just so busy with school that I don’t have time to write anymore.
I’ve started my first year of high school and I’m really enjoying it so far! It’s such a big change from middle school—there are so many more classes, and the work is a lot harder, but it’s also really fun. And there are so many new people! It’s been really cool making new friends and meeting new classmates from all over town who came here for high school.
My teachers are great too—they’re all very friendly, and they make sure we understand everything in class before moving on to the next thing. My favorite class is English lit because we get to read so many interesting books and then talk about them afterwards; sometimes it feels like we’re just hanging out with each other while our teacher explains things to us!
I hope you had a good summer vacation too; tell me all about what you did this summer if you have time.
Love always, [your name].
Dear Aunt Mary,
I hope this letter finds you well. I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that I am doing great in my new school. It has been really fun meeting all of the other kids and teachers, and I feel like I have already made a lot of friends. The classes are really interesting too! They have so much more variety than what we had at my old school, and it’s really cool to learn about things like how to build a robot or how to play the piano.
I am really glad I moved here. The weather is great, too—it’s not too hot or cold. And the apartment we live in is really nice and spacious with lots of room for all of us to spread out if we want to. It’s also close enough that we can walk places most of the time instead of having to drive everywhere like at our old place in California!
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and let you know that everything is going great here! Hope all is well with you guys too.
Dear Auntie,
I’m writing to tell you about my new school. It’s called [school name], and it’s really great. I like all my teachers a lot. They’re really good at teaching us, and they make us feel comfortable in the classroom. We have fun projects, too! For example, we made a video game together last week. It was so much fun! And the kids are so nice—they always say “hi” when I walk by in the hallway or on the playground. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know them yet because everyone is always happy to meet new people!
My favorite part of school is lunchtime because we get to eat delicious food and hang out with friends outside of class in the sunshine. The food is so good here—we have tacos sometimes! And they give us ice cream after lunch every Wednesday which is so cool! The best part about that day is being able to go outside again after having our favorite dessert for breakfast before coming inside for another full day of learning new things about how computers work or how plants grow from seeds into full grown plants that produce fruit or flowers depending on what kind of plant it.
Dear Auntie,
How are you doing? I hope you are fine. I am doing fine here in [new school]. I am studying hard in this new school. My teacher is very nice and helpful to me. The other students are also good. There is a beautiful garden outside my room where I can see the birds and flowers.
I’m not sure if you know about [new school], so I will tell you about it: [new school] is located near the [town]. It was built in 2009, and there are about 200 students in it. The school building has many classrooms and a library for students to read books or do research on computers. The teachers at this school have been teaching for many years, so they know how to teach students well and make them learn quickly.
There are many kinds of sports activities in our school such as football, basketball, badminton…etc. Students can choose which sport they like best when they join our club activities after classes finish each day; we will have competitions every week with other schools near us too! If you want more information about our school please visit my website below: [website link].
Dear [recipient’s name],
I hope all is well with you! I hope you are enjoying your new house and that you are feeling well. It has been a few months since we last spoke, and so much has changed in my life since then.
My school year has started, and it is going very well. The teachers are great, and the students are really nice. We have a lot of fun together! I have made friends with some other students who live close by, so we get to hang out often after school or on the weekends.
I like my classes too! My favorite class this semester is math because the teacher is very nice and helpful. She helps me understand everything better so that when it comes time for tests I feel confident about what I know (or don’t).
The only thing that’s been difficult so far is learning how to use the bus system here—it’s different from what they have at my old school—but luckily there are plenty of people around who can help me figure things out!
I hope you’re doing well! Please let me know if there’s anything I can do for you while your family is away on vacation (and no need to worry about sending an email back this time—my mom says it’s okay).
Hello, Auntie!
I hope you are doing well. I am doing fine too. I am writing to tell you about my new school. It is very big and beautiful. The building is made of glass and steel. There are many trees around the school and their leaves are green. There are flowers on the campus and all of them are colorful. The classrooms have computers and projectors in them. Our classroom also has a whiteboard where we write our problems on it. The teachers are very nice and helpful. They help us whenever we need any help with our studies or anything else related to our studies.
I have made many friends here at school, they are very nice and friendly too! They help me with my work whenever I get stuck with something difficult or don’t understand something clearly or if I just want someone to talk to about some problem that has been troubling me lately… their presence always makes me feel happy.. and less lonely at times when I’m feeling sad or depressed about something that happened earlier today, last week etc…
Overall, it has been a wonderful experience so far! Hope you’re having an amazing time over there too!!
