Write A Letter To Your Aunt About How You Spend Your Holidays

Every year for Christmas, I write my Aunt Mary a letter. Mostly about my life and how it has changed over the last year. Writing letters is an old fashioned art but one that is becoming more popular. Do you wish to write your aunt a letter but don’t know where to start? We’ve got you covered with this beautifully written letter samples for aunt below:
Write A Letter To Your Aunt About How You Spend Your Holidays
Dear Aunt,
I hope you are doing well. I wanted to write you a letter and tell you about how I spent my holidays.
I spent them with my family, we had a great time together. We played board games and made gingerbread cookies. We also went on an adventure to the zoo, which was fun and educational at the same time!
I hope you have a wonderful day!
Dear Auntie,
I hope you are having a great time in your hometown and enjoying the holidays. I am writing to you to tell you about my holidays. First of all, I want to thank you for the gifts that you gave me this year. You always give me great gifts and I really appreciate it.
This year has been a very busy year for me, but I also had some time off from work so that I could spend some time with my family and friends. For example, this past Tuesday night we went out for dinner at a restaurant and then we went to see a movie afterwards. It was nice because we got to spend time together as a family without worrying about anything else going on around us.
As always, I wish you all the best in life and health!
Dear Aunt [name],
I hope you are doing well! I am writing this letter to tell you about how I spent my holidays.
I went to the beach and played in the water. It was a lot of fun and we swam in the ocean. I also tried some new things, like playing Frisbee with my friends and going out on a boat.
The best part of the holiday was when we got to see fireworks on the beach at night! They were so pretty and made me feel like I was looking up at the stars in space!
I also read a lot of books while I was there, because it was really hot out and it made me tired from swimming all day long.
I hope you have a great holiday season too!
Dear Auntie,
I hope this letter finds you well. I know it’s been quite some time since we’ve spoken, but I wanted to reach out and tell you about my holiday season.
This year was very different from any other holiday season I’ve experienced—and it was because of the people around me.
In the past, my family and I have always lived in large cities where there are many options for entertainment. We’ve gone to shows, concerts, plays… even haunted houses! But this year we decided to do something a bit different: we decided to go camping.
Camping is not something that everyone would enjoy doing all year round, but when you’re surrounded by friends and family and nature itself, it’s hard not to have an amazing time. And even though it was cold outside (we had snow!), there was a warmth within our camp that kept us cozy on those cold nights. Plus, we got some great exercise walking around in the snow!
Thanks again for reading this letter—I hope you’ll be able to join us next year when we go camping again!
Dear Aunt,
It’s been a while since we’ve talked, and I’m sorry to say that this is the first letter I’ve written you. I know that you were hoping for more frequent correspondence from me, but I’ve just been so busy lately!
I’m sure you’re wondering what I’ve been up to—and if you’re reading this, then you probably already know! My life has been a whirlwind of activity lately. One day last week my brother and I went snowboarding at Mammoth Mountain in California. It was such a blast! We stayed in a cabin—which was freezing cold at night—but it was worth it to see all the snow and have fun with my brother. We went out into the woods afterward and made snow angels and built igloos out of snowballs (one of which almost fell on my head).
Afterward we drove back down to Los Angeles for some shopping at the mall. That was fun too—we got some new clothes for school next year, because we’re starting middle school soon! The thing about going shopping though is that it takes up so much time! It feels like every minute before school starts in September will be spent
Dear Auntie,
I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to you to let you know how I spent my holidays.
The holidays were wonderful this year. I had a great time with my family and friends. My cousins came over and we played games and watched movies together. We played hide-and-seek and tag in our backyard. It was so much fun!
I also went to the beach with my family. We went swimming and played Frisbee on the beach. I love going to the beach with my family every summer because we always have such a good time together!
Thank you for reading this letter, and have a great day!
Dear Auntie,
I hope you are doing well. How is the weather at your place?
I am sorry that I couldn’t be with you this year. But I had to attend a summer camp and it was very interesting. I learned a lot of new things and made new friends. It was a great experience.
I wish you could come over to my place for an extended vacation. But sadly we cannot afford it yet. We have only one family car and my father needs it for work all day long. We don’t go out much either because of financial reasons. We don’t have enough money to visit many places or buy gifts for relatives and friends during Christmas time either so we just stay home most days instead of going out shopping malls or restaurants like most people do during holidays like Thanksgiving Day or Independence Day etc.
Anyway, hope you’re doing well too! Love you lots!
Dear Aunt,
How are you doing? I hope you are doing well. I am also doing great. I am very excited for the holiday season. It will be here in a couple of days. This year, I am going to spend my holidays with my family, close friends, and my boyfriend. This is going to be an amazing experience for me because it is the first time that I will spend my holidays with my boyfriend’s family as well.
I am so happy that we got married two years ago and now we have a child too! We are having a great time raising our child together and raising him/her in general. We have been together for three years now and every day is better than the previous one. Our relationship has not changed much since we got married; in fact, it has only gotten better!
I love this time of year because there are so many things that we can do together like watching movies or playing games or just talking about our lives with each other; these are just some examples of what we do during this period of time every year around Christmas time and New Year’s Eve! This year will be no different than any other year before it because we always manage to find ways to entertain ourselves without getting bored out of our minds.
Dear Aunt,
Happy holidays! I hope you’re doing well.
I spent the last few weeks at home with my family, and it was great. We had a lot of fun going to see Christmas lights and going ice skating. I also got a new dog! Her name is Muffin. She’s really cute and cuddly, but she doesn’t know how to sit or stay yet, so sometimes it’s hard to take her on walks without her pulling me all over the place. But she’s learning fast!
I’m sending a photo of us together—I hope you like it!
Dear Auntie,
Happy Holidays! I hope you’re having a great time in Florida. I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to write you back. I’ve been really busy with work and school lately, but I wanted to send you an update on how things have been going for me.
Things are going well—I’ve been doing some freelance writing on the side lately, which has been fun and challenging. I’m starting to feel like I’m getting better at it, but it’s still hard sometimes to find clients who are interested in what I have to offer.
I think part of it is that there aren’t many people out there who know about my blog, so maybe if we could talk about ways for me to get more exposure? Like where should I post my content? What kind of topics do you think would be most appropriate for my audience? Do you think that maybe if we wrote a guest post together? Or maybe something else entirely?
Anyway, let me know what you think! Thanks again for being such an inspiration and role model for me 🙂
Dear Auntie,
I hope you are doing well. I miss you a lot and I am sure that you are missing me too. I am very happy to know that you are fine.
I am doing really well here. I am very excited about the holidays because we will spend them with our family members. We will make new memories together.
I hope that you can come to our house for Christmas Day and make it more special for us. If you come then, our Christmas party will be complete with your presence.
Love, Matt.
Dear Auntie,
I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to tell you about the holidays I have spent with my family and friends.
First of all, we celebrated Christmas Eve together. We had a special dinner that included turkey and ham, delicious vegetables and salads, a variety of desserts for everyone to enjoy, and even some special drinks to give us energy throughout the night! Then we opened presents from each other and from Santa Clause!
After that, we went to my friend’s house for a party. We had lots of fun playing games like pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey and musical chairs. It was so much fun watching everyone try their best at these games! We also played cards until late in the night before going home to sleep.
Right now it is New Year’s Eve, so we’re having another party at my friend’s house! I can’t wait for this one because there will be more food than ever before—and maybe even some fireworks if we’re lucky! This year has been great so far; I hope you had an amazing holiday season as well!
Dear Auntie,
I hope this letter finds you well. Sorry I haven’t written in a while—I’ve been really busy with school and work, and I’m also trying to find time to hang out with my friends before they all leave town for the summer. The truth is, it’s kind of hard to keep up with everything!
Anyway, this holiday season has been great so far. We had an amazing tree-trimming party at our house on Christmas Eve, and then we went to spend New Year’s Eve with my cousin’s family in the city. It was such a fun weekend!
This year for the first time ever, I went on a ski trip with some friends from school. We stayed up in Vermont at this beautiful resort called A-Basin (it means “a basin,” but we just call it “A-Basin”). There were about ten other kids there from school too—we were all in one big cabin together and had so much fun! My favorite thing to do was go snowboarding down the mountain—the snow was really soft underfoot and made it easy for us beginners to learn how to ride down the slope without falling too much.
